Some friends came out to the house and brought some mint cuttings for us. I absolutely love mint. It takes me back to my childhood when my mom would send me out get some mint for her tea. Ahhh, memories.
Since I had to leave behind all of my herbs when we moved, I thought that I might try my hand at propagating some from these lovely cuttings.
Everything that I read in my books say that it's pretty easy. Cut the stems at an angle and place in water. After a few days roots should start to grow. We shall see. If it works I've got a new mint plant to grace my counter this winter. Until then, I can't stop myself from sniffing it every time I walk by.
